The Kirtland Development was deposited Soon following the Fruitland Development, and is made of thick greenish shales and siltstones, with just a few skinny coal beds and white sandstone beds. The decreased component of the formation is known as the Hunter Clean Member and is also bounded by a white sandstone bed at its base and a particular brown
